Throughout her life, Donna Hodgins has been framing the world through the lens of a camera, documenting the passage of time, people, places, and events in her ever-changing world.
Originally from New York, she worked professionally as an interior designer in space planning for over 25 years in Israel until she relocated to North Carolina in 2012.
Overwhelmed by the beauty around her, she was unable to put her camera down and decided to turn her lifelong hobby into a profession, opening Art In Deezign in 2014. From wide landscapes to critter closeups, she is in constant search of unique compositions that capture the beauty of nature, the humor around us, and the transience of life.
From small photocards to large wall hangings, you can find Donna’s work in assorted galleries, restaurants, libraries, private collections, and shops across Eastern North Carolina.
