Self-taught Gourd Artist
Karla enjoys all aspects of creating gourd art – growing, cleaning, carving, painting, wood burning, decorating with flowers, etc.
She has had her gourds in magazines and art galleries in Maryland as well as in many craft shows. Last January the River Bend Garden Club enjoyed her presentation of gourd crafting followed by a trip to her “she shed” where she spends many happy hours with various different crafts.
