Oil landscape painter
Heide loves the scenery here on the Eastern Coast of North Carolina. Marshland, seascapes, cypress trees, and Spanish moss offer unlimited inspiration to create art. Her work is primarily landscape paintings in oil or acrylics and on occasion some still-lifes. Heide has shown work in juried shows in Connecticut and North Carolina. It has been collected across the country and is in private collections from Maine to California.
Exhibiting and selling her art through the Community Artists Gallery and Studios of New Bern has been a rewarding experience for Heide. She has learned much from her fellow artists. They are a group of talented, warm, and welcoming individuals with one common goal, to share the beauty of their surroundings though their art.
