Watercolor Artist
Belinda and her husband retired and moved from the hectic metropolis of the Washington DC area to New Bern, NC. She retired as a civil servant and cartographer from the US Army. Belinda studied at George Mason University and the University of New Mexico and focused her studies on Geology and Geography. She also studied surface design at the Corcoran School of Art (Washington D.C.) and has taken many art classes which include the following artists: Joseph McGurl, Mike Rooney, Kathie George, Robert Burridge, Ken Muenzenmayer, Ryan Fox, and Robin Poteet.
Belinda is a member of the CAGS (Community Artists Gallery, New Bern, NC) where she also has a working studio. Her media has been acrylics and is currently watercolor (poured), batik watercolor, and gouache.
