Best known for her portraits and narrative figurative works, Eberle’s paintings are sometimes done using models, and at other times created from imagination. She holds BFA, MA, and MFA degrees, the last from East Carolina University, where she also taught Drawing, Painting, and Illustration for over a dozen years. Other teaching credits include Penland School of Craft and two semesters in Italy.
Around the country, her work has been displayed at the Steamboat Art Museum (CO), Lore Degenstein Gallery (PA), Sedona Art Center (AZ), Ridgewood Art Institute (NJ), and the Portrait Society of Atlanta (GA). She’s shown at numerous locations within the state, including the Greenhill Center (Greensboro), Elder Gallery (Charlotte), and Durham Art Guild. Locally, she has won Best in Show Awards at the Imperial Center (Rocky Mount), Raleigh Fine Arts Society, Wayne Arts Council (Goldsboro), and Bank of the Arts (New Bern).
