Best known for her portraits and narrative figurative works, Eberle’s paintings are sometimes done using models, and at other times created from imagination. She holds BFA, MA, and MFA degrees, the last from East Carolina University, where she also taught Drawing, Painting, and Illustration for over fifteen years. Other teaching credits include Penland School of Craft and two semesters near Florence, Italy.
Around the country, Eberle’s work has been displayed at the Steamboat Art Museum in Colorado, Butler Institute of American Art in Ohio, and the Portrait Society of Atlanta. It’s also been seen at numerous locations in North Carolina, such as the Greenhill Center in Greensboro, and Elder Gallery in Charlotte. She won a number of Best-in-Show Awards, including at the Sedona Arts Center in Arizona, Lore Degenstein Gallery in Pennsylvania, and locally at the Imperial Center in Rocky Mount, the Raleigh Fine Arts Society, and the Bank of the Arts in New Bern.
