Suzanne Richey has been an artist all her life, but discovered clay about 5 years ago and has been working with clay ever since.  She enjoys making utilitarian wares for the home and garden.  She was a studio potter with Dan Finch in Bailey, NC, has attended workshops in Seagrove, NC and is currently taking a break from graduate studies at ECU for MFA in ceramics, focusing on her creative endeavors locally in New Bern.
