Painting, photography and jewelry
Having completed her Design Degree in her native England and marrying her American husband, Noreen moved to Upstate New York where she made her career in Commercial Interior Design and Space Planning.
She moved to New Bern 3 years ago, being drawn here in part by its history and vibrant art community which inspired her to pick up her paintbrush once again.
Noreen’s creations include seashell jewelry and tree ornaments, acrylic paintings and photography. She loves to ‘focus in’ on the beauty of Nature. Her subjects are varied and include botanicals, abstracts, coastal themes and pets. Her paintings are typically bright, colorful and detailed.
She is a member of TRAA, has exhibited at The Bank of the Arts and was recently awarded First Place for her “Spider Lily” painting in the SilverArts acrylic section.
Noreen’s art can be found at the New Bern Community Artists Gallery and online at Noreencreates.com
