Oil & Acrylic Painter

Leslie Anthony is an oil painter, with a special interest in horses and hounds – animals that are usually found in motion. She seeks to merge realism with painterly techniques, and often places an emphasis on color.

A member of the Community Artists Gallery and Studios, she majored in art at the University of Maryland and has shown her work in venues around Washington, DC and in Virginia before moving to New Bern. She was also involved in the Great Falls Studios and the Artists on the Green, both in Great Falls, VA.
